Breakfast and Out Of School Clubs

The LKPS Breakfast and Out of School Clubs are run by qualified staff offering wraparound childcare to parents from 8.00am to 5.25pm incorporating the school day.  The clubs principally cater for children attending the school, but are also open to children from reception to school year 8 attending other schools providing transport can be arranged.

The Breakfast Club is a free incentive funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and Local Education Committee to promote the importance of a healthy breakfast to assist in effective learning and concentration in the classroom.

The Out of School Club offers children a safe, fun and stimulating environment in which they are encouraged to develop their full potential in all twelve areas of the National Curriculum.  Different activities are organised weekly with the children involved in the decision making and planning.
